Viva Punta Cana: Stores, Hours and SIM Cards

Viva Punta Cana is the budget choice for a local SIM card. Its store in Bávaro is at San Juan Shopping Center, next to Downtown Punta Cana.

Short answer: go to Viva San Juan Shopping Center on Avenida Barceló with your passport. Coverage is good in Bávaro and Punta Cana but weaker in remote areas such as Miches, where Claro or Altice work better.
